Why are voice limits used on paid tiers?

Voice generation is the highest ongoing infrastructure cost. Limits keep plans sustainable while preserving quality and responsiveness.

What is included in each plan?

Free ($0): unlimited text battles, all modes, 3 voice battles per week, post-game arc summary.

Casual ($8.99/mo): 4 voice battles per week · 16 per month, unlimited text, battle history and stats, leaderboard ranking.

Duelist ($19.99/mo): 10 voice battles per week · 40 per month, unlimited text, priority leaderboard ranking.

Champion (Coming Soon): limits and price are currently in development.

Are text battles limited?

No. Text battles are unlimited across all tiers in the current model.

Profile And Progress

What is tracked in my player profile?

Your profile tracks record, win rate, history entries, mode performance, and recent form. It also stores settings like avatar, difficulty, and voice preferences.

How long is my battle data stored?

Battle and profile data is retained so progression, rankings, and history features work as expected.

Retention policies may evolve as Prompt Duel grows.

Founder Beta

What is the Founder Beta?

The Founder Beta is a limited 30-day access program for early testers. Apply at promptduelai.com/v2/beta/. Accepted applicants receive a promo code that unlocks Founder tier — including 10 voice battles per week and God Mode.

In return, Founder testers commit to completing at least 5 voice battles, reporting bugs and broken experiences, and filling out a short exit survey at the end of 30 days.

What is God Mode?

God Mode removes standard battle constraints — no rules, no limits. It is available exclusively to Duelist subscribers and Founder Beta testers. Enable it in Settings under Gameplay.

Billing And Access

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account billing settings.

Is payment information stored by Prompt Duel?

Billing is processed by Stripe. Prompt Duel does not directly store full card details.
